The institute is a reformed based Bible college whose training focuses on true scriptures, the reformed faith, doctrines, cross cultural study, Evangelistic Education, church planting, Great commission and nurturing versatile self –supporting church leaders.
Trinity Biblical institute is a non-profit making institute that started as a training department of Trinity Center for World Mission (TCWM) running four-year coeducational conferences and workshops in East & Central African selected countries with her headquarters at Kirwoko, Kapchorwa (Uganda).
The conferences & workshops targeted church leaders, Pastors, and Christians with formal education training or without formal education training but have passion to learn the word of God, improve on their church ministries and contribute to the call of Jesus Christ of championing Great commission ( Matthew 28:19-20)
The participants who attended these conferences and workshops and have relevant academic qualifications expressed interest of having their training formalized and awarded recognized academic papers.
TBI facilitators & other stakeholders were invited for a workshop between 17th20 January 2018 at Kirwoko, Kapchorwa under the theme (Skills Development in Curricula Design basing on National Council for Higher Education Benchmarks). All the participants approved the action plan of having Trinity Biblical institute seek formal accreditation of her academic programs and recognized as a private tertiary institution in Uganda as provided for in the Universities & Other Tertiary Institutions Act , 2001 as amended under part xix ,112.
It is upon this background that Trinity Biblical Institute prepared two Diploma programs that were submitted to National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) for accreditation. These Diplomas are: Diploma in Biblical Studies (DBS) and Diploma in Theology with Missions (DTM) with their accompanying Certificate Programs.
These programs also carry with them components of life vocational skills development. Trinity Biblical Institute admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights,privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
